Great experience, great memories, great atmosphere to fly solo like a bird off the wire, in my etching burin, engraving, mezzotint, burin, roller and oils and printing inks and viscosity and thumb and finger prints attire!

Some of my early prints as I was learning tgat I did working in @WilliamStanleyHayter @Atelier17 with @HectorSaunier and Juan and Bill Hayter himself that started the whole experience off doing the small plate with textures and forms and lines to give the illusion od 3-D perspective of depth. I still have the drawinf that Bill did to illustrate this thatcI have included here in an earlier post. Check it out.

more still to cone! Tony My ctual zinc plate that I used to make the experimental plate with a 3-D effect desired under the direction of Bill Hayter. It has that protective sticky backed plastic over it now to protect if from the acis bath as I used the other side to make another etching,

Added on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 just now at 5:30pm. Tony The other etching is scraped into the green protective layer to reveal the zinc surface and two figures walking, one being carried dragged along by the other. Enjoy!
